Pavilion Sustainability Touch Screen Display

I designed and developed the interactive touchscreen content which highlights and informs visitors about the sustainability features of The Pavilion, the most sustainable building on the Colorado State University Campus. The touchscreen integrates with a 3D model of the building. Users can identify the location of a sustainability feature on the 3D model and find the feature on the touchscreen to learn about it.

The layout and content were created to reflect the CSU Brand and adhere to accessibility standards. All buttons are located on the bottom row of the screen and are large enough for easy clicking. Colors are high in contrast and sans-serif fonts were chosen to increase readability on the screen.

The touchscreen was developed in the Four Winds Interactive digital signage software platform. It uses multiple templates that are linked together through touch interactivity. The content and graphics were provided by the architecture firm and were integrated into the templates.

Prototype Video

This video highlights the functionality of the touchscreen when someone interacts with it. I created the video using screen capturing software and Adobe Premiere.
